We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Team Lead to join our team at Big Smiles Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our dental assistants in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile dental clinics.
Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of dental assistants in providing patient care and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of dental equipment and supplies.
- Perform digital X-ray imaging and other dental procedures as needed.
- Chart patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Travel daily to and from school sites to provide dental care to underserved children.
- Current licensure as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant.
- Experience with digital X-ray imaging and other dental procedures.
- Ability to work well with children and adults.
- Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to schools in neighboring counties.
