Job Summary:

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is a Residential Health Care Facility that provides high-quality care through continuous improvement and the involvement of the interdisciplinary team and the entire community.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
  • Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
  • Medication administration
  • Wound and treatment care
  • Providing general nursing care to patients in accordance with the facility's nursing policy and procedure
  • Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for Nurse review
  • Assessing and addressing resident pain as necessary and consistent with the doctors' orders

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
  • Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
  • CPR Certified
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must work every other weekend
