Respiratory Therapist Certified PRN

We are committed to caring for patients with purpose and integrity at TriCities Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist Certified PRN, you will administer therapy modalities as ordered by physician, performing all aspects of mechanical ventilators and arterial puncture and blood gas analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer therapy modalities as ordered by physician
  • Perform all aspects of mechanical ventilators and arterial puncture and blood gas analysis
  • Verify physician orders prior to therapy treatment
  • Give accurate reports to oncoming staff at shift end
  • Perform equipment rounds

Requirements:

  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Respiratory Therapy Degree - AAS or BS
  • One-year adult critical care experience
  • Previous experience with mechanical ventilation, blood gas analysis and oximetry
