Job Overview

Work Schedule

  • Part-Time - 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Rotation includes every third weekend and holiday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patient demographics by employing the Nursing Process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Guide and direct patient education and the activities of nursing support staff.
  • Take a leadership role in patient education initiatives.
  • Ensure patient-centered care practices are prioritized.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance care quality and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work every third weekend and holiday.
  • Availability to be on call or assist with staffing during fluctuations in patient census.

Education and Licensure

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current nursing license in the State of Ohio.

Experience

  • Preferred prior experience in obstetrics.
