Community Health Center Controller

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Director to join our team at David Raines Community Health Center.
About the Role:
This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in managing teams and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual operating budget to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting packages to provide insights into the organization's financial performance.
Requirements:
(The minimum qualifications can be with any combination of education and/or experience.)
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related degree
Experience: At least eight years of healthcare business and/or finance operations
Supervisory Experience: At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
Preferred:
Certification: CPA or equivalent certification can substitute one year of experience
Experience in FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Centers)
