About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist in transferring and positioning patients in the operating room, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and patient safety.
  • Anticipate and provide the necessary instruments and supplies to surgeons during operative procedures, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of OR Technician training program.
  • BLS and OR Technician certification required.
  • One (1) year of scrub experience in a hospital setting.
