Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at ATC Chicago. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment
  • Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies to surgeons during procedures
  • Maintain aseptic technique and proper OR scrub procedure
  • Assist in the care and maintenance of specimens
  • Provide patient services in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner

Requirements:

  • Completion of a surgical assisting program of study
  • NBSTSA Certification
  • At least three years of experience as a Surgical Technician in a Level I or Level II trauma center or large teaching hospital
