Job Description
This is a senior-level position that requires significant experience in network security engineering. As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will lead our network security efforts and be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network security infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Deploying and maintaining 802.1X authentication across our network infrastructure.
  2. Implementing and managing NIST 800-53 network security controls to ensure the highest level of security for our network.
  3. Providing support for Darktrace systems and contributing to the continuous improvement of our network security posture.
  4. Conducting network security threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  5. Leading incident response efforts, including investigation and remediation of network security incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience (9+ years total experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in network security engineering, with expertise in 802.1X authentication and NIST 800-53 network security controls.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and encryption methods.
