Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficient in 3D CAD design, with a preference for SOLIDWORKS.
  • Experience with industrial robotics and programming, preferably with FANUC systems.
  • Knowledgeable in pneumatic and sensor component selection.
  • Basic understanding of electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective project management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear messaging across all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Experience
  • Minimum of 6 years in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in 3D CAD design.
  • 3 years of experience in equipment design, preferably in automation, HVAC, automotive, or appliance sectors.
  • 1 year of experience working with industrial robots is preferred.
Education/Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Robotics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering is required.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with potential forklift traffic and required PPE.
  • Exposure to higher noise levels; hearing protection may be necessary.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 to 10 hours.
  • Repetitive movements and good hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Physical tasks may include lifting, carrying, or moving up to 50 lbs.
