Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at Banner Rehabilitation Hospital – West. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing recreation activities for patients, providing therapeutic recreation intervention, and educating patients on community resources.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement recreation activities for patients in accordance with organizational guidelines.
  • Provide therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload.
  • Orient patients to recreation therapy and provide hospital-wide leisure, social, and divergent programs.
  • Serve as an educator to patients on community resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation required.
  • Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible to take exam required.
