Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a Meat Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and store efficiency in the meat department.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and process meat deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating stock
* Weigh, price, and label meat products
* Stock and face meat cases, ensuring a visually appealing display
* Prepare and package valued-added meat products
* Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making product recommendations
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements

* Ability to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
* Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver meat products up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions

* Work in a cold environment, with frequent exposure to refrigerated temperatures
* Stand for long periods, with occasional sitting and walking
* Use equipment and tools to perform job duties, including meat slicers and scales
