About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Terry Black's Barbecue LLC. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Washing and Sanitizing: Ensure the availability of clean dishes, pots, pans, and flatware by washing and sanitizing them thoroughly.
  • Pre-Shift Preparation: Prepare dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, such as dishwashers, pots, and pans, mixers, and other appliances.
  • Delivery and Storage: Unload and store deliveries in a timely and organized manner.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep and mop floors, especially in areas where items are broken or spilled.
  • Trash and Recycling: Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans regularly.
  • Team Support: Assist other restaurant staff members with tasks as needed.
  • Food Safety: Report any kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimal work experience required.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills, exceptional time management skills, and ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Food Safety: Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
