We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Educator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in our Certified Nursing Assistant School, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present information in a classroom setting and provide individualized instruction to students
- Administer, review, and check exams to assess student knowledge and understanding
- Keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and skills to track student progress
- Educate students on the proper care of patients in a long-term care facility and share clinical experience with students in a long-term care facility for a portion of the class
- Assist students who are struggling to ensure our 95% pass rate is maintained
Requirements:
- RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility or nursing home
- Experience supervising CNA's in a clinical environment or presenting in front of a classroom is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with basic computer functions
