About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key player in our construction projects, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all mechanical aspects of large-scale construction projects, from initial planning to completion.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of the mechanical team, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to design and implement mechanical systems.
  • Review and approve mechanical designs and plans, ensuring they meet all safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality.
  • Manage project budgets, including the estimation and procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical construction.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the construction industry, with a specific focus on mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Previous experience working with a mechanical contractor on HVAC, Piping, and/or Plumbing projects.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to construction sites as needed.
