Job Summary:

Cenergy International seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to perform complex inspections and ensure the quality of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspection and quality control, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on complex parts using a variety of measuring and test equipment.
  • Develop and adapt complex inspection setups to check sample parts, forgings, and castings.
  • Interpret specifications, charts, manuals, and other data to determine acceptance or rejection.
  • Recommend changes to supervision and work within guidelines of drawings, schematics, blueprints, and quality directives.
  • Layout component part characteristics onto rough or semimachined castings, forgings, and machine parts.
  • Make gaging setups on surface plates using block, parallels, clamps, sine plates, and V-blocks.
  • Investigate cause of customer return failures and perform inspections to applicable specifications.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Five years related inspection experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of applicable military standards or specifications.
  • May be required to be certified as a Level II Nondestructive Test Inspector in at least three disciplines or as a Level III Examiner in at least one discipline.
  • Required experience in CMM operations, background in dimensioning and tolerancing per ANSI Y 14.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, customer's specifications, and internal drawings and procedures.

Preferred Skills:

The pay range for this position is $26.00-$27.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
