Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician - Patient Care Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role involves assisting pharmacists with prescription preparation, data entry, and inventory management, while also providing excellent customer service to patients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, data entry, and inventory management
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Assist with inventory ordering, receiving, and stocking
• Perform administrative duties, including answering phones and responding to customer inquiries

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic math skills and ability to calculate days supply

Working Conditions

The Pharmacy Technician - Patient Care Specialist will work in a retail pharmacy environment, standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to patients and customers.
