Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to AORN and OSA standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care, addressing their needs in a cost-effective manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to meet departmental goals and contribute to a positive, flexible work environment.
- Maintain sterile technique, prepare for procedures, and pass instrumentation, adhering to age-appropriate standards.
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent experience.
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification preferred.
- CPR certification required within two weeks of hire.
