Our organization offers a diverse range of 17 tailored programs designed to meet the unique needs of our participants, including medical therapies, counseling, vocational training, adult day programs, and social enterprises. Position Title:Rehabilitation Program Technician
Classification:Full-time; Non-exempt
Purpose of the Role:The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the development, organization, and management of the Day Services Program.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate a variety of cognitive, social, recreational, and community integration activities aimed at helping program participants achieve their individualized goals.
- Review Individual Support Plans (ISP) and provide necessary support in alignment with these plans.
- Ensure the safety and goal achievement of program participants by providing appropriate supervision and training during day program activities.
- Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADL), which may include toileting, dressing, meal preparation, and support during meals.
- Transport and supervise program participants during community integration activities and volunteer opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily log notes for behavioral goals, data collection, and records of billable time usage.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injury survivors is highly preferred. Candidates should possess:
- Knowledge of disabilities and community resources
- Effective communication skills in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
- Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills
CPR, First Aid, and MANDT training will be provided upon hire, along with other required agency training.
Additional Requirements:A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance are required for independent travel. Candidates must be able to obtain a Class E Missouri license within 60 days of hire. The role requires the ability to walk or stand for up to 3 hours and to lift, push, pull, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Availability to work during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, is essential.
