Diagnostic Imaging Technician

Dignity Health Medical Foundation is a leading healthcare provider in California, and we are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, following established protocols and procedures.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Instruct patients on imaging procedures and provide clear instructions on what to expect.
- Follow prescribed safety standards when operating radiology equipment to minimize radiation exposure.
- Develop and process radiology film, examining it for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain examination rooms and stock necessary medical and radiological supplies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CA CRT License.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to properly position patients for quality imaging.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment operation and perform simple adjustments.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage interactions with difficult patients and staff.
- Excellent telephone skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Minimum of one year of x-ray experience.
- ARRT Certification.
