About the Role

Dignity Health Medical Foundation is a leading healthcare provider in California, and we are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Instruct patients on imaging procedures and provide clear instructions on what to expect.
  • Follow prescribed safety standards when operating radiology equipment to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Develop and process radiology film, examining it for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain examination rooms and stock necessary medical and radiological supplies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CA CRT License.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to properly position patients for quality imaging.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment operation and perform simple adjustments.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage interactions with difficult patients and staff.
  • Excellent telephone skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of x-ray experience.
  • ARRT Certification.
