Job Title: Assistant Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team at Primrose School. As a key member of our educational child care experience, you will play a vital role in promoting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Assess and meet the individual needs of each child, working closely with the Leadership Team to develop and implement personalized lesson plans.
  • Provide a nurturing and supportive environment, encouraging children to explore, create, and make decisions with confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Requirements:
  • Meet the basic requirements of local child care regulatory agencies.
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
