Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Tech II to join our team. As an Aircraft Tech II, you will be responsible for performing complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems and components to identify defects or malfunctions
  • Perform repairs and modifications to aircraft systems and components as required
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with inspection and documentation requirements
  • Complete paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Identify and tag customer property and equipment properly
  • Store aircraft components and customer property securely and safely
  • Collect and dispose of waste fuel, oil, and hydraulic fluids safely
  • Implement Lean and continuous improvement processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Use company-provided tools and equipment properly and return them post-use
  • Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/large size aircraft required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and initiative
  • Experience documenting aircraft maintenance
  • Ability to work well within a diverse team

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
