Job Summary:
WestRock is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution of maintenance programs in our Corrugated Container Facility. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance department, promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and maintain the safety program for the maintenance department, ensuring compliance with all applicable OSHA standards.
  • Initiate and implement the plant maintenance program based on best practices, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Review equipment operations constantly to minimize downtime, solve problems, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
  • Utilize and maintain systems for tracking work orders, PMs, spare parts, and maintenance history.
  • Develop and train maintenance employees to ensure a safe, timely, and cost-effective maintenance program.
  • Assist in budgeting, capital planning, and financial review of plant performance.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental policies and regulations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or 5 years of equivalent maintenance experience.
  • Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in heavy industry, preferably in corrugated manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work an alternating shift.
