Key Responsibilities and QualificationsThis role involves executing various technical procedures while utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic and interventional purposes, adhering to ALARA standards. Responsibilities include:
- Managing inventory, scheduling patients, and performing operational tasks.
- Operating imaging equipment to facilitate procedures and interventions as directed by the Interventional Physician.
- Assisting in Interventional cases by scrubbing and circulating.
- Providing after-hours emergency coverage as needed.
Qualifications Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
- Completion of a Vocational School or Associate Degree.
