Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a collection truck, providing prompt and courteous service to our customers, and ensuring compliance with company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order
  • Safely operate the truck along designated routes, reading route sheets and following maps to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely manner
  • Load and unload refuse, operate compactor, and dispose of collected material at designated facilities
  • Interact with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure all routes are serviced efficiently and professionally
  • Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste and clean up spills as needed
  • Complete required reports, including route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports
Requirements
  • Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment
