Formulation Chemist - Product Development Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous Laboratory Technician Assistant to support our research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, quality control testing, and analyses to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests following standard procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain records of all batches sold and processed
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including mixers, viscosity testers, and spectrophotometers
  • Record and analyze data accurately
  • Assist in the development of new testing methods
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures
  • Experience with new product formulation, particularly with UV/LED coatings
  • Proficiency in X-Rite color matching and Excel
  • Industry experience within coatings/inks
