We are seeking experienced Telehealth Nurses for a travel assignment in Midlothian, VA.

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Description:

As a Telehealth Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care by monitoring and interpreting telemetry data from various machines.

These machines measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and blood-oxygen levels, sending data to computer screens for you to monitor.

You will read and interpret the data to determine the best course of patient care, taking into account any irregular telemetry readings.

Additionally, you will need to adjust specialized equipment used on patients, monitor electronic displays, and identify any potential issues that may arise.

Initiating corrective action when necessary is also a key aspect of this role.

You should be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.

Easily lifting 20 pounds is a must, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds required for patient care.

You will also need to have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BLS, NIH, ACLS certifications
  • 2 years of acute care experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Easily lifting 20 pounds
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities
