Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Chefs with various tasks and fulfill their requests.
  • Prepare all items assigned by the Chef or Sous Chefs efficiently.
  • Properly store, label, and rotate prepped items in compliance with health regulations and company standards.
  • Minimize waste and prioritize recycling, maintaining open communication with the culinary team.
  • Report any inconsistencies or quality issues regarding products to the Chefs and Purchasing team.
  • Execute all menu items for designated stations with precision.
  • Understand and adhere to workplace safety and emergency protocols.
  • Effectively read and interpret food tickets.
  • Utilize standardized recipe cards and demonstrate proper techniques and tool usage.
  • Ensure that all food items meet our high-quality standards, resulting in positive guest feedback.
  • Maintain timely delivery of orders from the kitchen to the dining area.
  • Complete all assigned tasks before leaving for the day and communicate your departure to the Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
  • Consistently uphold daily cleaning and organizational standards in both storage and production areas.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with health department regulations.
  • Support fellow kitchen staff with cleaning, cooking, and preparation tasks as needed.
  • Perform all duties while following health department sanitation guidelines.
  • Approach all tasks with enthusiasm, dedication, and professionalism.
  • Foster good communication with teammates and management.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
  • Prepare family meals twice daily, recycling ingredients as guided by the Chefs.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a high-volume or fast-casual dining environment is preferred.
  • Ability to engage with guests and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Capability to stand and maintain mobility for up to 8 hours while sustaining a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours.
  • Availability to work 8+ hours per day.
