Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and meeting sales goals. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with customers, management, and coworkers
  • Basic computer skills, including the use of a Point of Sale System and other programs adopted by The Salvation Army Central Territory
  • Ability to give change accurately
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions:

The Sales Associate will work in a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The environment may be dusty, and the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather. The Sales Associate will be required to work weekend and evening hours.
