We are actively seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in Wilmington, DE. As an ICU specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview:

In this role, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for critically ill patients. You will also participate in emergency situations and administer medications and treatments as needed.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess patient conditions, including vital signs and physiological parameters, and intervene with appropriate care. You will also monitor and provide care to patients with unstable or life-threatening conditions, manage life-support systems, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care
  • Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, or life-threatening conditions
  • Manage various life-support systems, including ventilation and heart-monitoring
  • Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
  • Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Requirements:
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Ability to function effectively under stress
  • Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
