Float Pool RN Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse PRN to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool team at St. David's Georgetown Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policy and procedures.
- Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as needed to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on care and treatment options.
- Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with the care team to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
