About the Role

Vista Community Clinic is a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services in San Diego, Orange, and Riverside counties. We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide chair-side assistance to dentists in the concept of four-handed dentistry
  • Prepare patients for service delivery, including impressions, topical agents, and nitrous oxide administration
  • Maintain a smooth flow of patients from reception to operatories, coordinating activities and resources
  • Operate x-ray equipment, process images, and arrange them in a format as appropriate
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent with post-high school vocational/specialized training
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Certification of completion of Registered Dental Assistant Exam
  • Coronal Polishing Certificate
  • Radiation Safety Certificate
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Operational experience with x-ray machine, sterilizing equipment, ultrasonic equipment, laboratory equipment, and other dental practice-related equipment
  • Minimum two years' experience working as a registered dental assistant in a high-volume dental practice
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of professional dental duties and health care delivery systems
  • Ability to put patients at ease and provide clear, understandable directions
  • Experience with computers, Microsoft Office products, and business email communication systems
Compensation

DA: $25.00
RDA: $30.00
