**Heavy Machinery Repair Specialist**

Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled heavy machinery repair specialist to join our team in Johnston, Iowa. As a heavy machinery repair specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex heavy equipment and vehicles used by the company.

Your primary duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, as well as more complex repairs, such as replacing engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment repair, diesel mechanics, and related fields. We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental & vision, life insurance, health advocacy, and employee assistance programs.

We strive to maintain a positive work environment with 1st shift hours - 7am-5:30pm (50-hour weeks are normal, could be more, rarely less). The team is close-knit, and we promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
