We offer a unique opportunity for a Critical Care Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, and other acute care areas. You will work under the supervision of experienced nurses and physicians to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, and other acute care areas.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- One (1) year of clinical nursing experience in the specialty area in which assigned to float.
- Holds or obtains a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
