Job Summary

The Heavy Duty Porter/Utility Cleaner position is a key role within our team at Boyd Gaming. As a Porter/Utility Cleaner, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers, while also performing various cleaning duties throughout our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service and interact positively with customers and employees
  • Empties and cleans garbage cans, grease barrels, and trays
  • Cleans floors, walls, and ceilings
  • Sorts garbage and cleans floor drains and grease traps
  • Cleans kitchen equipment, grills, fryers, ovens, and other equipment
  • May perform duties at the Casino Café or for special events and parties hosted on the Casino Boat
Requirements
  • Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications required by Federal, State, and Gaming regulations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • The skills necessary for this position are typically acquired through a minimum of two months' on-the-job training or through related experience
