Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage nursing operations in Pre-Op, OR, and PACU departments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Administrator to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Foster professional communication and a positive environment in all interactions.
  • Act as a representative of the healthcare team to uphold patient safety and care quality.
  • Implement and enforce infection control policies and procedures.
  • Conduct staff and patient education on infection control measures.
  • Oversee the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Program (QAPI).
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Current RN license in New York state.
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS Certification is necessary.
  • At least 5 years of nursing experience with progressive leadership roles in acute care or ambulatory settings.
  • Experience in healthcare management is preferred.
  • Strong ethical standards and professional references.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Understanding of Quality Improvement Processes is essential.
  • Familiarity with operating room protocols and multi-specialty practices.
