Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations, positioning patients, and setting exposure factors to obtain high-quality radiographs.
  • Practice radiation safety and protection to minimize patient exposure.
  • Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain quality studies.
  • Report equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.
  • Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing purposes.
  • Use imaging equipment properly and follow department procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  • A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • NYS license/registration.
  • One year of experience as a radiologic technologist.
  • Ability to work rotational weekends and holidays.
  • Varied shifts and flexible scheduling.
