- Perform a wide range of diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on BMW vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Service Writer and customers to understand vehicle issues and provide clear explanations of necessary repairs and estimated costs.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and provide accurate solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, following manufacturer's guidelines.
- Install, inspect, and repair various components, systems, and accessories, such as engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Perform performance upgrades and modifications as per customer requests, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest BMW models, features, and technical specifications to provide informed service recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Test-drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality and identify any additional issues.
- Document all repairs, services, and parts used accurately for record-keeping purposes.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive technology is required.
- Proven experience as an automotive service technician, with specific experience working on BMW vehicles required.
