Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic procedures, to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Position patients to achieve optimal image quality and ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Communicate with patients to obtain medical history, explain risks and benefits, and ensure informed consent.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and exam results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and maintain accreditation standards.

Requirements:

  • ARRT Registry in Mammography, IEMA.
  • 40 hours of advanced training in an MQSA approved program with 50 supervised exams in mammography.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent.
  • BLS through American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
