Position Overview:
Compensation: $23-$24/hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available: 1st and 3rd
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure, weigh, and document chemicals for batch preparation.
- Adhere to established compounding protocols and recipes to produce superior products.
- Safely operate and oversee advanced production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot and adjust melt extrusion processes to meet specified requirements and resolve production challenges.
- Utilize technical expertise in single and twin-screw extrusion methods for effective machine setup and product enhancement.
- Monitor product quality, discarding or reworking items that fail to meet standards.
- Conduct mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting on extrusion machinery.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all equipment is utilized and cared for properly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Compounding Technician.
- Strong foundational math and mechanical skills.
- Ability to accurately follow standard operating procedures and instructions.
- Good judgment and comprehension to interpret written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.
- Capability to identify variations in product quality and adhere to protocols for reporting discrepancies.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining production machinery.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
