Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Transplant Team at Emory University Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of transplant medicine.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring transplant services.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and diagnostic testing, to inform treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and address patient needs.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the healthcare team.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum one year of direct experience in a high-acuity clinical specialty, preferably in transplant medicine.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Healthcare Provider certifications required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required in some areas.
- Competitive salary range: $106,000 to $134,000 per year, depending on experience.
