Electrical Installation Specialist

The Electrical Installation Specialist position at Westerman, Inc. offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rigorous conduit, cable, and wire tray layout integration
• Installation of instrumentation, wire terminations, and FAT testing of components
• Creation of reports related to project labor and materials
• Tight adherence to Westerman and customer safety protocols
• Effective communication, accurate documentation, and professional presentation
• Critical thinking, complex problem-solving, troubleshooting, and judgment skills
• Strong reasoning skills, including inductive and deductive reasoning

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in instrumentation or electrical controls or a related field
• Proficiency in basic electrical test equipment
• Knowledge of electrical installation technical requirements in hazardous locations
• Experience with ladder diagrams
• Knowledge of fittings, termination, and electrical barriers for instrumentation and devices
• Knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics, P&ID, and basic wiring
• Thorough understanding of multi-step troubleshooting methodology
• Competencies in production equipment, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
• Ability to analyze data accurately, draw conclusions, and implement corrective actions
• Basic safety training
