This role involves assisting the finance management team in various areas, including dashboard reporting, financial analysis, productivity assessments, long-term financial planning, and budgeting processes, all aimed at supporting strategic initiatives and operational functions.

Provide guidance, technical support, and assistance to management in executing strategic and operational initiatives.


Responsibilities:
Financial Insights Analyst

Location:
CHI Health McAuley Center

NOT A REMOTE ROLE


Deliver analytical and decision-making support, utilizing financial and data analysis skills to assist with diverse financial and clinical projects as requested by leadership.

Ensure effective reporting structures (including account, department, charge code, and job code mappings) are maintained across all financial systems, as applicable.


Assist in the precise compilation of cost accounting data, including RVU definitions and collections, cost assignment methodologies, and charge master research.

Maintain comprehensive system-wide statistics. Foster a collaborative relationship with operations to ensure standards are updated and automated.


Ensure accurate monthly reconciliation of all costs and revenues with the general ledger, budget, and productivity systems to guarantee consistent and reliable data.

Develop and uphold system standards and allocation structures in detail, considering methodologies that best serve customer needs and expectations.

Support the organization's system-wide strategies and operational planning efforts.


Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as necessary to meet the needs of hospital operations, including ad-hoc reports, feasibility studies, trend analyses, and special initiatives.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely related field.
