Job Summary

The Mobile Technician will work with our team to provide top-notch service to our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of preventative maintenance and the ability to perform basic and advanced adjustments, repairs, and component replacements on trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction.
  • Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions.
  • Maintain 80% productivity.
  • Prevent comebacks/warranties.
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services.
  • Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
  • Adjust, remove, and replace clutches and drivelines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair fuel tanks, fifth wheels, trailer hitches, and auxiliary axles.
  • Perform tandem alignment, front axle king pin, and bushing repairs.
  • Perform basic aluminum and steel wire welding.
  • Utilize machinery to repair or fabricate driveshafts.
  • File, grind, sand, and smooth filled or repaired surfaces.
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical window, and seat operating equipment and trim.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and service truck.
  • Practice safe driving.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience with repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • Class A CDL is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
Working Conditions

Exposure to Inside/Outside Conditions, Extreme Temperatures, Humid Conditions, Chemical Hazards, Vibration, Equipment Noise, Work in enclosed and confined spaces.
