Pharmacy Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
This is a non-supervisory position in which the incumbent under the direct management of the Business Operations Manager and working closely with the 340B coordinator. The incumbent must be able to perform pharmacy technician related job duties in order to understand compliance requirements to effectively audit for third party payer requirements as well as other internal audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with third party payer requirements and other internal audits.
- Assist the 340B coordinator with 340B audits.
- Cover pharmacy technician shifts when due to callouts/vacations.
- Perform other job related duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Registered and certified pharmacy technician license (Maryland).
- Prefer certified nationally as pharmacy technician.
- 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, 340B drug discount program, third party payer audit compliance standards and pharmacy technician experience.
