Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Application Specialist to join our team at F.N.B. Corporation. As a key member of our technology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our business applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application management, with expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. You will work closely with our development teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks, and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring system health, reviewing logs and reports, and escalating issues to vendors as needed. You will also perform proactive and preventative maintenance, using available data to proactively improve application performance. Additionally, you will design server applications and performance metrics for monitoring system health.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provides top technical and application business expertise to multiple end user groups
2. Monitors system health, reviews logs and reports, and escalates issues to vendors
3. Performs proactive and preventative maintenance
4. Designs server applications and performance metrics for monitoring system health
5. Formulates and defines system requirements and objectives based on business needs and performance goals
6. Identifies, explains, resolves, and prevents application performance issues

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
7 years of experience in technology-related roles supporting various applications
Advanced knowledge of administration, processes, and operations, and determining root cause problems with hardware, software, and databases
Excellent customer service skills, ability to use general office equipment, and ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Licensures/Certifications: Advanced training and certification in the application domain
