Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CADD Technician to join our team at the City of New York. As a CADD Technician, you will be responsible for producing various Land Survey Map deliverables using AutoCAD and Carlson or Civil 3D applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce Land Survey Map deliverables such as Topographical/Property Line, Damage/Acquisition, Highway/Sewer Plan and Profile maps.
  • Review all completed maps for accuracy, completeness, and conformity with established standards.
  • Prepare project progress reports and assist in preparing presentations.
  • Attend meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Requirements:

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in surveying, surveying engineering, surveying engineering technology or in similar surveying-related majors.
  • Two years of full-time satisfactory land surveying experience.
  • Registration as a New York State Land Surveyor is required for appointment to Assignment Level III.
