Primary Care Physician

The Curative Health Plan is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team. As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide evidence-based medical care to our members via telemedicine or in-person at our office in downtown Austin.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an organization that is changing the US healthcare system. You will have the chance to work with a collaborative team, including supervising Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs), and contribute to the development of our clinical services and programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive primary care to our members
- Supervise and collaborate with APPs as directed
- Perform health risk assessment visits to evaluate patient health status and develop personalized care plans
- Deliver primary care services - virtual or in-person
- Diagnose and manage adult acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop treatment plans for preventive care and acute and chronic problems
- Contribute to the development of our clinical services and programs
- Mentor and manage team clinicians as directed by the Medical Director
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
- Active and unencumbered Texas medical license
- Successful credentialing by the Curative Health Plan
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Servant-leadership mindset
- Experience with both in-person and virtual primary care
- Experience working with a collaborative team, including supervising APPs
- Medical licensure in multiple states
