Responsibilities
  • Support Veterinarians: Collaborate with our veterinarians to ensure high-quality patient care, advocate for pets, and educate clients on their health and wellness.
  • Facilitate Patient Flow: Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain a positive patient experience.
  • Assist with Surgeries and Procedures: Work alongside our medical team to perform surgeries and procedures in accordance with state regulations and guidelines.
  • Communicate with Clients: Provide clear and compassionate communication to clients regarding their pet's health, treatment options, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain Medical Records: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Obtain Health History: Gather relevant health information from clients and maintain accurate medical charts.
  • Ensure Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized treatment area, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Mentor and Support Colleagues: Guide and support fellow team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Possess a strong background in veterinary care, preferably in an emergency or critical care setting.
  • Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Possess a degree in veterinary technology or a related field, with certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or registered veterinary technician (RVT).
