Job Overview:

Axxeum, Inc. is in search of a proficient Electrical Equipment Assembly Technician. This role necessitates expertise in the assembly and installation of electrical distribution apparatus, including up to 120V AC/DC circuit wiring, control systems, diesel generators, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of electrical concepts, be adept at interpreting schematics and technical drawings, and have experience with manufacturing shop tools and standard hand tools.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, integrate, and test AC and DC circuits, as well as mechanical and hydraulic components in a manufacturing setting.
  • Utilize AC and DC electrical diagnostic and testing equipment to troubleshoot or assess hardware functionality.
  • Employ manufacturing shop tools and common hand tools to construct or modify various components.
  • Conduct assembly and integration of AC and DC digital boards, wiring, transducers, cables, and connectors.
  • Perform additional manufacturing or testing production tasks as required.
  • Safely move, lift, or transport heavy equipment using a dolly, hoist, crane, or forklift.
  • Execute other related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Six months to one year of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities with a capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy in interactions with colleagues, clients, and management.
  • Effective communication skills in clear, concise, and accurate English, both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements:

This position may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Tasks may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Candidates must possess sufficient mobility for bending, reaching, climbing, turning, and kneeling to complete daily responsibilities efficiently. Due to parking and work location, moderate to long-distance walking may be necessary. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors is essential. Candidates must be capable of lifting, moving, and transporting items frequently weighing over 10 pounds.
