Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students via secure online platforms to promote social-emotional growth and academic success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) to support students' unique needs.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to students in distress, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to express their feelings and concerns.
  • Develop and deliver professional development workshops for educators and staff on mental health topics to promote a culture of wellness and support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid School Psychologist license in Illinois.
  • Experience in a school setting, with a strong understanding of IEPs, BIPs, and school-based mental health services.
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and platforms.
